SMTronix Quality Policy

• To produce 100% defect free products that, at a minimum, satisfy our customer’s requirements.
• Quality can’t be inspected into a product.
• Quality must be present at every stage throughout the manufacturing cycle. Quality is a standard mindset for every employee of SMTronix.
• SMTronix believes in becoming your partner and as such we spend whatever time is necessary to fully understand your needs, your requirements, how your assembly functions and if there are any anomalies or extraordinary specifications.
• Every product is unique to itself and thus requires careful and thoughtful study to ensure that all the specifications are fully accounted for as well as complied with to the applicable IPC standard.
• When parts or kits are received they are inspected for conformity to the Purchase Order or to the BOM that has been supplied by the customer.
• As boards move through the production cycle they are inspected at each stage of the process.
• All assemblies pass through final inspection before moving to shipping.
• SMTronix measures performance on manufacturing quality and meets regularly to evaluate and improve.
• SMTronix works to IPC 610 class 2 and 3 and is currently working towards implementing an ISO 9001-2015 standard facility.

We all care about our own health and the long term sustainability of our local environment. At SMTronix we take this responsibility very seriously.

Every 6 months management meets to measure our effectiveness and progress and to discuss ways and methods of reducing our carbon footprint and our impact on our environment.

We continually review our usage of electric energy and have taken steps to reduce this. Electronic manufacturing, by its very nature, can create quite a bit of waste which, if it enters the ecosystem, could cause significant damage.

SMTronix not only follows governmental guidelines as to the handling of spent chemicals, we seek to exceed them. We have structured our production and assembly departments so that we have two people who are responsible for the proper disposal of chemical waste.

To reduce the use of paper SMTronix has developed and implemented computerized software solutions which eliminate much of the previous paper required for each production run. All cardboard, paper and metal refuse is recycled in proper containers.
